.Opportunity to Serve

Don't forget to sign up to provide refreshments for the youth meetings on Sunday evenings at 6pm. You can be sure the youth will greet you with gusto! Tim has said that they are "bottomless pits" when it comes to food so prepare for about 25 your. (It is perfectly all right to join with a friend to help provide refreshments).  They are a very appreciative group and you will certainly feel blessed by them Continue to pray for the youth group as they continue to meet and study God' Word

Sunday Worship service on Tape

Would you or someone you know be interested in receiving a copy of the Sunday morning worship service on tape... please let the church office know or sign the sheet in the vestibule. There may be those who are unable to attend the morning service that would appreciate the opportunity to share from their home the worship  hour with us

SPRING REVIVAL SCHEDULED

Our Spring Revival is set for May 18-21 with Rev. Jeff Collins being our guest preacher. Jeff is pastor of Welcome Home Baptist Church in the Cricket community of Wilkes County. More Details to follow but begin praying now.

Bell ringers Needed..

 We have lots of bells and too few ringers (or Ding a Lings). All interested ringers are encouraged to contact Lynda Mastin.. I guarantee you it will be a time of fun and fellowship for all.
We are starting a second set of Ding a Lings so sign up soon.

MISSION OPPORTUNITY

The High Spirits WMU group is collecting Campbells Soup labels for Intra coastal Ministries. This ministry needs a mini-van, which will cost 1 million labels. Thats alot of labels, but our church can do our part... Please help us by saving the whole label and place them in the green tub in the vestibule.

MISSION STATEMENT PRESENTED

The Mission of Pleasant Ridge Baptist church is to glorify and honor God by reaching the lost of all ages and cultural backgrounds through proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, growing disciples into a deeper relationship and understanding of the Lord., under the leadership of the Holy Spirit meeting the spiritual needs of all members, supporting missions both home and abroad, and to extend God's loving grace toward all people, seeking to expand God's Kingdom in our community and the world.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

This years vacation Bible School theme is Cactus Canyon. The trail ride will kick off on Sunday, August 10th and the Trail Ride will continue through the 14th, and end with Family night on August 15th

BLOOD DRIVE

The blood drive has enough signed up to aquire a date..
